About the Role
DRG Mechanical is looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician who can step into a truck, run service calls independently, and represent our company professionally in customers’ homes. This is a field-based role focused on residential service and maintenance.
Compensation
Pay: $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems.
- Perform routine tune-ups and preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC equipment.
- Communicate clearly with homeowners about issues, options, and recommendations.
- Complete basic job notes and service documentation.
- Drive a company vehicle safely between job sites.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a residential HVAC service technician.
- Ability to work independently in the field (not an entry-level/trainee role).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Driving record that allows you to be covered on company insurance.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- EPA 608 certification.
- Experience with high-efficiency systems and ductless mini-split units.
